About

After 6 years as a book designer at ___ publishing, I opened the solo studio “Harubook” in a Jeonju Hanok Village alley in 2022 — because I love making one book at a time by hand, not by print run.

Now I make diaries and notes from free combinations of leather·paper·thread·binding, and every Sat·Sun I run classes in the studio: case binding, leather stamping, fountain-pen intro. About ___ books a year.

I want to share the texture of paper under the hand, the speed ink spreads, the grain leather takes on over time.

In the §4 material picker, pick a leather·paper·thread·binding combination → “Request quote” → the maker replies within 3 business days. Pay after agreeing on price, lead time, details. ~2–4 weeks to make after payment.
Cap is 4–6, but with 4+ a separate schedule can be arranged. In the §10 form choose “Classes” → “Group inquiry” and note headcount and preferred dates. Reply within 3 business days.
KRW 60k includes materials + tool use — pen, ink, practice paper all provided. Bringing your own pen is fine (guidance available). You keep your work.
Carrier’s responsibility + free remake by the maker (you cover only materials). On receipt, send photos + the waybill photo to the footer email. Handled within 3 business days.
Visits OK Tue–Fri 11:00–18:00, Sat 11:00–15:00. Closed Sun·Mon. Studio stock is small (solo studio) — call ahead and the product you want will be ready.
For a first diary, “Leather diary A6” (cowhide · case-bound · mini). Use it a week; if you like it, size up or change leather on the next order. The lightest first class is “Hanji note” (3h · KRW 60k).
